Risk management has been at the core of most of my roles. I sought a qualification which allowed me to build on skills specific to ERM, and to be accredited by the CGA.

The roles that I have held, including my current role as Senior Manager Reinsurance & Protection, at HSBC Global Insurance, have provided me with a great vantage point to observe the many facets of complex organisations. With the CERA qualification, I have the knowledge and skills to navigate the multi-faceted world of ERM. The CERA accreditation is valued and consistent globally, it complements my experience well, strengthening my credentials and profile as my career develops.

Kathy Wong, Chair of the CGA, is delighted to congratulate Wajahat on this significant achievement and to recognise this important step forward for global risk management. “As the global community faces ever more complex risk challenges, there is a need for skilled enterprise risk management professionals.  The CERA credential is one of the most comprehensive and rigorous risk management qualifications available.
