Andreas Troxler is the general manager of AT Analytics AG, a boutique actuarial consulting firm he founded in 2021. He helps his clients in the lines of property, health and accident insurance and reinsurance leverage their own and external data to take informed business decisions.
Before launching AT Analytics AG, Andreas led the Data and Analytics practice of a small actuarial consulting firm. Prior to that, Andreas served as Chief Reserving Actuary of Zurich Insurance Company in Germany where he built up the Actuarial Function. Earlier roles include non-life reserving, pricing and capital modelling with a large international insurer, a Big Four consultancy firm, and a large reinsurer.
Andreas holds a PhD in applied mathematics from ETH Zurich. Andreas is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) and fully qualified member of the Swiss Association of Actuaries, which he represents in the CERA Treaty Board. He was one of the first CERA graduates of the CAS. He focuses his continued education on actuarial data science.
Andreas lives with his wife and his son near Lucerne.
Ann Conway is a managing director at Willis Towers Watson, providing consulting services to numerous clients in the private and public sectors. She specializes in commercial lines and has worked on reserving and pricing for insurance companies and self-insurers, captive feasibility analyses, and capital adequacy reviews. She has also acted as an expert witness on several occasions. She is an active volunteer in the CAS, having served on the CAS Board of Directors and chaired several committees, including the CAS Risk Management Committee.
Barbara D’Ambrogi-Ola is Head of Actuarial Department at Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company, one of the biggest employment pension insurance companies in Finland. She is involved in many different tasks including pension reforms, financial stability of pension programs, as well as longevity risk and customer behavior in insurance. She holds a PhD in applied mathematics from University of Helsinki (Finland) and a MSc in mathematics from University of Rome (Italy). She is a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of Finland and has been in the past years member of the board and president of the society. In addition Barbara works actively in many International Actuarial Association’s committee and working groups and is chair of the Social Security Committee.
David is Director of Partnerships and Synergies for PREVOIR (French Life insurance group). He has more than 25 years of experience in the life and health insurance and reinsurance industries in French, European and Asian markets (within SCOR, MUNICH RE and RGA). He spent most of his professional career supporting insurers and distributors in their product development strategies, in contributing to their risk management and risk transfer operations and in overseeing their performance and capital optimization objectives. He is also a visiting lecturer in Risk management and insurance (University of Paris Nanterre and Faculty of Law in Lille). David has been President of L’Institut des actuaires (France) from July 2016 to November 2020.
David is a Fully qualified actuary (2001) and CERA qualified (2012), member of L’Institut des actuaires.
He holds a “Business sustainability management” certificate (Cambridge, 2020), a “Design sprint” certificate (2018), “Digital Marketing” certificate (ESCP, 2015), an Executive MBA (ESCP, 2001) and Master in “Mathematical economics and econometrics” (University of Paris, 1991).
Dimitris Malaxianakis is a senior level Actuary, with 12 years of experience in the insurance sector managing both Life and Health business.
Since November 2019 he is the L&H Analytics and Pricing Manager of ERGO Hellas, while previously has worked as senior actuary in Interamerican Greece (part of Achmea) with specialty in Health insurance.
Dimitris is a Fellow of the Hellenic Actuarial Society from 2014 and serves as member of its board since 2021. He holds a Bachelor degree in statistics from the and an MSc in actuarial science from University of Piraeus.
Greg Martin has more than 35 years experience in financial services, specialising in life insurance, superannuation and funds management, acting in roles including directorships, executive management and as external adviser to companies, regulators and Courts.
He served as ClearView’s Chief Actuary & Risk Officer 2011-2019 and as General Manager Strategy 2019-2020. Prior to 2011 he was a Partner with KPMG where he provided actuarial consulting advice for over 17 years, including 5 years as Managing Director of KPMG Actuaries. Greg has held a number of life insurer appointed actuary roles. He is currently with KPMG providing actuarial consulting advice.
Greg has chaired or served as a member of various regulatory, industry and professional committees and Boards, advised regulators (Australian and overseas), and published a number of papers and articles.
Greg has experience across strategy; risk management, governance, life insurance and wealth product development and pricing; product distribution; financial advice business; investment management; reinsurance; capital management and structuring; compliance; financial reporting; budgeting/forecasting and M&A.
Henning represents the German Association of Actuaries (DAV) on the CERA Treaty Board.
He started his professional career in 2005 with the DAV. In the first couple of years he supported the work of several committees such as life, pensions and education and was also involved in DAV’s internal and external communication activities.
Since 2015 he is Managing Director of the Deutsche Aktuar-Akademie (DAA), a subsidiary of DAV, which is responsible for organising education seminars for the exams to become member of DAV. The DAA also offers several CPD activities for actuaries in Germany. Also since 2015 he is Managing Director of the European Actuarial Academy, a joint initiative of the actuarial associations from Austria, Germany, Switzerland and The Netherlands to provide CPD opportunities for actuaries in Europe.
Henning is a member of DAV’s Education Committee as well as DAV’s CPD Committee. He represents the DAV in the IAA Education Committee and is chairman of the Education Committee of the Actuarial Association of Europe (AAE).
He holds a diploma in Mathematics and is a qualified actuary and member of DAV since 2012.
Janette Larney is a senior lecturer in actuarial science at the Centre for Business Mathematics and Informatics, North West University, South Africa.
She is a fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries as well as the Actuarial Society of South Africa, and is also a Certified Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA).
As the accreditation actuary of her institution she is responsible for the management and quality assurance of its actuarial science programme.
She actively contributes to the actuarial profession by serving on and chairing various ASSA committees and she also serves as the course leader of ASSA’s Applied ERM (C100) course.
Janette has been a member of the Global CERA Review Panel since 2013 and was appointed as chairperson in December 2017.
Kailash has almost 15 years’ experience across all actuarial verticals including Risk Management, Pricing, Shareholder Reporting, Business Planning and Solvency 2.
He is currently working as SVP - Actuarial, at HDFC Standard Life. Prior to this he was the Actuarial Practice Leader for KPMG in India.
He is a Fellow with both IAI and IFoA, MBA from IIM Lucknow and B.Tech. from IIT Kanpur.
The Treaty Board is delighted to welcome Kamil at the representative of the Česká společnost aktuárů (CSpA).
Kathy Wong was appointed to serve on the CGA Treaty Board by the Society of Actuaries beginning in 2018. As a member of the SOA Board in 2004, Kathy was part of the group of actuaries that organized the development of the SOA’s Risk Management Section and the SOA’s initial inroads into ERM. Kathy led the development of the first enterprise risk management examinations offered by the organization and served on the task force that created the SOA’s original CERA credential.
Kathy has been involved with the CGA Review Panel since its inception, helping to develop the CERA syllabus and serving as an external reviewer beginning in 2009. She continues to volunteer on the SOA’s examination committees in the enterprise risk management area, as well as serving as a facilitator of professionalism and ethics courses.
Kathy’s full-time career spanned 35 years, primarily at two major insurers, Prudential (U.S.) and AXA Equitable. Her focus has been in the areas of financial reporting, valuation, and risk management. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst. She graduated from Lafayette College with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.
Now retired from full-time actuarial work, Kathy continues to provide consultant services in the areas of risk management and insurance company regulatory issues. She is heavily involved with volunteer service to the SOA, the IAA, and the American Red Cross.
Kathy was elected Chair of the CERA Global Association in September 2021.
Ko-wen Chang is Head of Risk Management Department at Cathay Life Insurance Company, one of the leading life insurance companies in Taiwan.
He has 15 years of experience in the insurance industry spanning across actuarial pricing, financial valuation, actuarial and financial modeling, financial reporting, capital management, asset and liability management, Mergers and acquisitions advice, enterprise risk management, data governance.
He is now serves as the Chairman of the Actuarial Institute of Chinese Taipei ERM committee.
Ko-wen is a CFA charterholder, a Follow of the Society of Actuaries and a Charted Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA). He holds a BS in Mathematics from National Soochow University and MS in Applied Mathematics from National Cheng Kung University.
Ludovic is an Executive Director at EY where he focusses on Actuarial Services. His range of expertise encompasses regulatory matters (Solvency II, IFRS17,…), development and validation of actuarial models and risk management of insurance companies. He also leads several actuarial function engagements or actuarial audits for Belgian clients. Recently, he has also led the effort and the support to client on the inclusion of ESG risks and climate stress-testing in the risk management framework. Prior to joining EY, Ludovic has worked for two Belgian insurance companies (focusing on non-life pricing and reserving) and five years within a European insurance group (focusing on risk management and Solvency II).
As well as this, Ludovic is also guest lecturer at the University of Brussels where he teaches a course on regulatory aspects of the actuarial profession. He is also an elected Board Member of the Belgian association of Actuaries (IA|BE) where he is the chairman of the Education Committee.
Malcolm Campbell is an experienced consultant in the financial services industry, specializing in actuarial and risk management issues. He studied mathematics and statistics at the University of St Andrews and qualified as an actuary in 1985. He is a member of Svenska Aktuarieföreningen.
Malcolm served as Chief Actuary at Skandia from 1987 to 2001, working with the development of new life insurance and pension enterprises in a number of different countries. In the 1990s he developed Skandia’s first Risk Policy and subsequently a risk framework, which laid the foundation for a CRO function.
Currently Malcolm is principal of Aktrisk, consulting in business development and risk management with a particular emphasis on solvency 2 and ORSA implementation.
Malcolm has been on the Board of CERA Global Association since its formation, and has also served on the CERA review panel. In addition he is currently past chairperson of AAE (Actuarial Association of Europe) and past President of the IAA (International Actuarial Association).
Marc is a full member actuary of the Col·legi d'Actuaris de Catalunya, actively participating in the association and having served on the board for the past 4 years as the Head of Institutional Relations.
Marc professionally develops his profession under his own firm Arias Actuarios, S.L. in the fields of actuarial engineering (solvency, risk and pensions) and as a general and marine surveyor, for insurance companies, banks, industrial companies and the legal environment, among others.
In the international actuarial field, he participates in the IAA (International Actuarial Association) in the committees “Enterprise & Financial Risk” and “ORSA”, as well as in the IAALS (IAA Life Section), where he is also a member of the Board. In the AAE (Actuarial Association of Europe) he participates in the “Risk Management Committee”.
Additionally, he acts and has acted as the holder’s protector in different insurance companies.
CURRENT RESPONSIBILITY
Masaaki Yoshimura is “Representative in Japan” at Milliman. He is responsible for consulting on issues related to Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), as well as managing Milliman Tokyo office.
EXPERIENCE
Previously employed by Sumitomo Life Insurance Company in Tokyo for about 30 years, he accumulated a wide variety of experience in the areas of Corporate Actuarial, International Investment, and Planning and Research. In addition, he assumed the role of General Manager of Corporate Risk Management, served as an Appointed Actuary, and spent three years in the United States as Chief Representative of Sumitomo’s New York office.
He has served as General Secretary of the Institute of Actuaries of Japan (IAJ) and is currently an executive board member and Chairman of the ERM committee. He also contributed to draft a report on demutualization and to the IAJ’s Standard of Practice regarding the allocation of policyholder contribution in demutualization.
Currently, he is one of the 8 worldwide representatives of the Executive Committee of the International Actuarial Association (IAA) and previously served as deputy chairman of the Professionalism Committee. He also has experience working as a member of the Insurance Working Group of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB).

Ofer has more than 35 years of experience in actuarial and senior executive management roles. He worked for 12 years in the UK as an actuary at Liberty Life and as a consultant at the Willis Towers Perrin London office, followed by 19 years as the Chief Group Actuary and member of the Management Board of Clal Insurance Company, Tel Aviv, Israel.
He then moved on to consult and advise various insure-tech startup companies and be part of their Advisory Board.
Ofer is currently serving as the Chief Actuary and Senior Deputy Commissioner for Insurance Innovation at the Israel Capital Market, Insurance and Saving Authority.
He is a Fellow of the UK Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, a Fellow of the Israel Actuarial Association and a Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA). He is currently a Board member of the CERA Global and the Chairman of the Education Committee of the Israel Actuarial Association for which he served as Past President for 6 years.
Ofer holds a B.Sc. from Tel-Aviv University, Post Graduate Diploma in Actuarial sciences from London City University and an MBA from both the Kellogg Business School of Northwestern University in Chicago and the Recanati Business Schools of Tel Aviv University.
Patrick is a senior level Actuary & Risk Management professional, with 15+ years of experience in the pension and life insurance sector.
Since January 2022 Patrick is a specialist in Model Validation (Model Risk Management) at DNB Bank ASA, while previously has worked as Actuary and Risk analyst for KLP (Norway's largest pension company).
Patrick is the chairperson of DNA’s Education Committee and represents the DNA in the IAA Education Committee and the Education Committee of the Actuarial Association of Europe (AAE).
He holds a MSc in Insurance Mathematics and is a qualified actuary and member of DNA since 2011.
Patrick represents the Norwegian Association of Actuaries (DNA) on the CERA Treaty Board.

Roman Schneider is the representative of the AVOe on the CERA Treaty Board.
Ron was elected as Chair of the Treaty Board in October 2015 for a three-year term, standing down in September 2018. Since the foundation of the CERA Global Association, he has represented the Dutch actuarial association, one of the co-founders. Ron has more than 25 years of experience in actuarial work; working for different insurers and consultants in the Netherlands. Ron is currently employed by the Verbond van Verzekeraars in the Netherlands, where his focus is in the area of actuarial reporting and risk reporting for insurers.
In addition to his actuarial and risk management work, Ron regularly acts as lecturer and teacher.
Ron represents the Dutch actuarial society in various international committees in the IAA as well as in the Actuarial Association of Europe. He is a member of merit of Het Koninklijk Actuarieel Genootschap (The Royal Actuarial Society).
The Treaty Board is delighted to welcome Sonia as the new representative of the Instituto de Actuarios Españoles (IAE).
Sonia is an insurance professional with more than 20 years of experience.
She is a member of the Spanish Institute of Actuaries and CERA certified by the CERA Global Association, with a solid international career in companies such as BNP Paribas Cardif, AXA and Admiral Group.
Currently, she is General Manager in Meridianos Seguros, an insurance company in Spain.
The Board is delighted to welcome Stephen as the new representative of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA).
Svend represents the Danish Actuarial Association (DAA) on the CERA Treaty Board.
He graduated as an actuary in 1993 and joined DAA. The first years he spend at the university as PhD student and later Assistant professor. In 1998 he left academia and pursued a career in the insurance industry. He has worked within both direct and reinsurance P&C companies, and within both pricing, reserving and capital modelling. Currently he is managing a reserving team for a direct insurer. Svend has over the years been an active member of the DAA. He is at present a part of the Accounting and Solvency Committee.
Svend obtained the CERA certification following the EAA courses.
