CERA at ICA 2026
Looking ahead to the International Congress of Actuaries (ICA) 2026 in Tokyo, the CERA Treaty Board is preparing a panel discussion on The Future of the Actuarial Profession.
The panel will bring together current and former Chairs and Board members of the CERA Treaty Board to share their perspectives on how the profession is evolving and the opportunities ahead for actuaries and CERAs.
This promises to be an engaging and thought-provoking session, highlighting the growing impact of actuarial and risk management expertise in an increasingly complex and rapidly changing world.

CERA at ECA 2026
At the European Congress of Actuaries (ECA) 2026 in Paris, CERA Treaty Board members Stephen Wilcox and Ron Hersmis presented on the value of the CERA designation in a rapidly changing risk landscape. Their session explored how emerging risks and accelerating technological developments are reshaping the profession, and how the CERA credential equips actuarial professionals with the skills and perspective needed to navigate these challenges and add value to their organisations.

The CERA Global Association does not authorise any third party to distribute or sell member data on its behalf. Such emails are often generic marketing or phishing attempts and may use information obtained from publicly available sources.
If you receive an email of this nature, we recommend that you:
- Do not respond to the sender.
- Do not click on any links or open any attachments.
- Do not request further information or sample data.
- Report the email to your organisation’s IT or security team where appropriate.
- Notify the CERA Global Association if the message specifically references CERA members or appears to contain member information.
At present, we are not aware of any evidence that CERA member data has been compromised. However, we encourage members to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious communications.
