Welcoming the PAI as a New Member Association

We are delighted to announce that the Persatuan Aktuaris Indonesia (PAI), also known as the Society of Actuaries of Indonesia, has become a Member Association of the CGA with Award Signatory status.

We look forward to working closely together and to the valuable contributions PAI will bring in supporting and strengthening the CERA credential globally.

Please join us in extending a warm welcome and sincere congratulations to PAI on this milestone achievement.

CERAVISION: the Webinar

Thank you to everyone who attended our very first CERAVISION webinar session in May! We were delighted to see such strong engagement. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to our speaker, Brian Walsh, for delivering an insightful and thought-provoking presentation. Brian explored how LLMs and Agentic AI can be applied within a framework of controlled acceleration, ensuring that speed is balanced with strong governance, transparency, and accountability, and what the approach means in practice in modern risk management.
For those who were unable to join or would like to revisit the session, the session recording is now available on the actuview website. This is just the beginning, with more sessions planned in the coming months, so please stay tuned for further updates.

ECA 2026

It was a pleasure to attend ECA 2026 in Paris and wonderful to see so many of you in person. Thank you to everyone who took the time to stop by and speak with us – we truly value these opportunities to connect with our community.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to CERA Treaty Board members Stephen Wilcox and Ron Hersmis for delivering an inspiring session. The recording of the session will be available on actuview from 5 August.

If you were unable to join us or would like to continue the conversation, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us via email at [email protected]. We would be delighted to hear from you.

ICA 2026

Looking ahead, we are pleased to share that the CGA will be participating in the 33rd International Congress of Actuaries (ICA 2026), taking place in Tokyo on 8-13 November.

The CGA will be contributing to the programme through a panel discussion, as well as exhibiting at the event. This will provide an excellent opportunity to showcase our work and engage with the global actuarial community.

Registration is now open and we encourage those interested to explore the event and secure their place via the official website.

A reminder to all CERAs – access to actuview is included automatically as part of your credential. actuview offers a wide range of valuable actuarial content, including recordings, webinars and professional insights.

If you have not yet been able to access your account, please contact the actuarial association through which you hold your membership, who will be able to assist you in getting set up.
