The next CONVENTION A is taking place on March 19-20, 2024. The congress program will again be jointly created by 24 partners and institutions of the European actuarial profession. Each partner will choose a topic and independently host a 90-minute expert session as part of the congress program. Additionally, two high-ranking keynote sessions, addressing the most pressing and relevant topics in today’s actuarial profession, will be daily highlights for all participants.

Syed Ali Yahya

Syed Ali Yahya is the Chief Risk Officer at Generali Thailand and brings over 17 years of professional expertise in the insurance industry. Holding the CERA Designation from SOA, he previously served as the CRO at AXA Insurance Thailand, an Actuarial Consultant at KPMG Thailand, and began his career in the Actuarial Division at State Life Insurance, Pakistan. Yahya oversees risk management responsibilities for both the Life and Non-Life entities at Generali Thailand. His well-rounded experience encompasses Valuation, Group Life Pricing, Actuarial Auditing, Internal Controls, and Insurance/Financial/Operational Risk Management, showcasing a unique blend of skills as a traditional actuary and a dedicated risk professional.
