Marc is a full member actuary of the Col·legi d'Actuaris de Catalunya, actively participating in the association and having served on the board for the past 4 years as the Head of Institutional Relations.

Marc professionally develops his profession under his own firm Arias Actuarios, S.L. in the fields of actuarial engineering (solvency, risk and pensions) and as a general and marine surveyor, for insurance companies, banks, industrial companies and the legal environment, among others.

In the international actuarial field, he participates in the IAA (International Actuarial Association) in the committees “Enterprise & Financial Risk” and “ORSA”, as well as in the IAALS (IAA Life Section), where he is also a member of the Board. In the AAE (Actuarial Association of Europe) he participates in the “Risk Management Committee”.

Additionally, he acts and has acted as the holder’s protector in different insurance companies.
