Henning Wergen

Henning represents the German Association of Actuaries (DAV) on the CERA Treaty Board.

He started his professional career in 2005 with the DAV. In the first couple of years he supported the work of several committees such as life, pensions and education and was also involved in DAV’s internal and external communication activities.

Since 2015 he is Managing Director of the Deutsche Aktuar-Akademie (DAA), a subsidiary of DAV, which is responsible for organising education seminars for the exams to become member of DAV. The DAA also offers several CPD activities for actuaries in Germany. Also since 2015 he is Managing Director of the European Actuarial Academy, a joint initiative of the actuarial associations from Austria, Germany, Switzerland and The Netherlands to provide CPD opportunities for actuaries in Europe.

Henning is a member of DAV’s Education Committee as well as DAV’s CPD Committee. He represents the DAV in the IAA Education Committee and is chairman of the Education Committee of the Actuarial Association of Europe (AAE).

He holds a diploma in Mathematics and is a qualified actuary and member of DAV since 2012.
