Andreas Troxler has, since 2019, been leading the Data and Analytics practice of Azenes AG, a boutique firm for actuarial consulting in the lines of property, health and accident insurance, and reinsurance. He helps his clients leverage their own and external data to take informed business decisions.
Before joining Azenes, Andreas served as Chief Reserving Actuary of Zurich Insurance Company in Germany where he built up the Actuarial Function. Earlier roles include non-life reserving, pricing and capital modeling with a large international insurer, a Big Four consultancy firm, and a large reinsurer.
Andreas holds a PhD in applied mathematics from ETH Zurich. Andreas is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) and fully qualified member of the Swiss Association of Actuaries. He was one of the first CERA graduates of the CAS. He focuses his continued education on actuarial data science.
Andreas lives with his wife and his son near Lucerne.
