SUMMARY:International Congress of Actuaries
DESCRIPTION:In conjunction with the International Actuarial Association we are delighted to be hosting the 32nd International Congress of Actuaries in Sydney from 4 – 8 April 2022. \nA great deal has changed since the Congress was last held in Australia in 1984 and while we could spend time discussing developments since then\, it will be much more beneficial to discuss our prospects for the future around our theme – Bridge to tomorrow. \nOur members have developed a significant presence in a range of new areas and we look forward to discussing these developments and the many areas where actuaries can add value going forward.  That doesn’t mean we ignore the past – there are lessons to be learned from our history\, and there is still much for actuaries to contribute in our conventional practice areas. \nWe are planning an innovative and exciting congress program with speakers from around the globe sharing knowledge and discussing the myriad of topics and issues relevant to actuaries.  The social program will showcase Sydney’s best attractions and give you the opportunity to relax\, catch-up with colleagues and make new connections.
